Terms of service

lnk.hk is run by Mikeneko Solutions (Hong Kong). By using lnk.hk you agree to these terms; if you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. Questions: [email protected]. If this English version and the Chinese version differ, the Chinese version applies.

1. The service

lnk.hk provides short links, QR codes, click stats, a UTM builder and, on Pro, custom short codes and custom domains. We may add, change or stop individual features.

2. Accounts

Short links you can keep and track need a Google sign-in; you can also create short links that last 30 days without signing in. You are responsible for the links you create and everything done under your account, and for keeping your details accurate.

3. Acceptable use

You may not create or share short links to:

phishing, scams, or sites impersonating others (such as banks, government or online platforms)
malware, viruses or other harmful software
spam, or bulk promotion without consent
content that breaks the law of Hong Kong or of the destination’s location, or that infringes others’ intellectual property, privacy or other rights
destinations disguised to get around safety checks

Every destination is checked with Google Safe Browsing when created and re-checked daily. We may disable or delete links or accounts we reasonably believe break these terms, without notice. To report a link, use the report form.

4. Plans and payment

Without signing in: random short code, valid 30 days, with a daily limit. After signing in, links made in the same browser can move into your account.
Free plan: up to 5 active short links with a random 10-character code, valid for one year.
Pro: HK$20 a month or HK$200 a year, renewing monthly or yearly through Stripe. Cancel any time under Manage subscription; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
When a paid plan ends, links with custom codes, codes shorter than 10 characters, or custom domains stop redirecting. Other random links expire at their original date or one year after the plan ended, whichever is sooner. “No expiry” also depends on an active subscription.
Except where the law requires otherwise, subscription fees already paid are not refundable. Price changes are announced on the site before they take effect.

5. Custom domains

You may only add domains you own or are allowed to manage. Removing a domain, broken DNS settings or the end of a paid plan all stop that domain’s short links from redirecting.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to your links and content. To run the service, you allow us to store, process and display them (for example, showing your chosen title and image in share cards).

7. Availability and disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we aren’t responsible for the content of destination sites.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending the service

You can stop using the service at any time or email us to delete your account. If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account.

10. Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; significant changes are posted here with a new date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
